A short film about supporting your gender non-conforming child

Kat Blaque, an animator, illustrator, vlogger and blogger, has shared this short animation with us. In it she shares her experience growing up as a young trans girl, her parent’s reactions and the struggles she had with a lot of self-hate.

She shares an important lesson every parent could learn about letting your child be who they are, and giving them vital support in the process.

Kat Blaque is on You Tube and her prints are available on Society6.
